How do you write a standard form of slope intercept. ( y = 5x )

hartnn (hartnn):

slope intercept : y=mx+c y=5x is already in this form, slope =5, y-intercept = 0

hartnn (hartnn):

u mean standard form ax+by+c= 0 ?

hartnn (hartnn):

then subtract y from both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh, like my slope intercept is y = 5x + 0, and i want to convert it in to standard form. as in Ax + By = c

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, subtract y from both sides , what u get ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0 = 5x ?
