(x^-2)(y^0) / (x^3)(y^-2) Plug in x = 2 and y = 5 (2^-2)(5^0) / (2^3)(5^-2) 5^0 = 1 since anything to the power of 0 is 1 2^-2 is the same as 1/(2^2) = 1/4 (1/4)(1) / (8)(1/25) = (1/4) / (8/25) = (1/4) x (25/8) = 25/32
