A common type of graph you will encounter in life is one that shows a company’s stock price over time. Take a look at a few on the Internet if you are not familiar with them. These graphs are obviously not linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, or rational functions. But are they piecewise functions? Explain why you think that they fit the description of a piecewise function or not. Any help? Not sure how to answer this.
