Which excerpt contains an example of alliteration? “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry i could not travel both." "then took the other just as fair, and having perhaps the better claim." "And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden back." "I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." those are the multiple choice answers please help thx.

hmm... thinking...

ok

"And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden back." I think the L sound in "lay" and the nearby L sound in "leaves" is an example of alliteration. It's supposed to be the same consonant sound... that seems like it would work. It's not very obvious, but it seem to qualify.

thx i really dont like or understand poetry

Do you see it a least? It's not my favorites either... Alliteration is like "Frank's friends are freaking over the freezing temperatures" All those "fr" sounds are the alliteration.

Thanks! I try to make it easier to "get it" :) School's hard, but maybe having a friendly tutor makes it easier :) Try not to get frustrated.
