\[\frac{ m ^{2}+7m+12}{m ^{2}+6m+8}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you mean how to simplify it? Factor the numerator and the denominator: \[\frac{ (m+4)(m+3) }{ (m+2)(m+4) }\] Then cancel the (m+4) 's: The answer is \[\frac{ (m+3) }{ (m+2) }\]

How about \[\frac{ 6a+9 }{ 12}\]
