y=10x^2-5x+9 need to know whether this parabola is up or down and what point it crosses over the y-axis

well you can tell that the parabola is up because "a" in the equation ax^2+bx+c (which is 10) is positive. then to find the y intercept, which is called the minimum in this case, you plug in the numbers to -b/2a
