i wish i could help! can u help me? my problem is to write 11,020 in scientific notation!! PLEASE HELP!!! ANYBODY!!

To find the midpoint between 2 points, you find the average of the x-coordinates and the average of the y-coordinates. Do you know how to find the average?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add up the 2 x values and divide by 2. Then do the same for the y values.

geerky42 (geerky42):

@alexi2012 \(11,020 = 1.102 \times 10^{4}\)

2,2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the x's are 0 and 4. Add them up, it's 4. Divide 4 by 2 to get the average and it's 2. The y's are 2 and 2. Add them up, you get 4. Divide by 2 and it's 2. So it's (2,2). Yes!!!
