Need some help. Have an exam tomorrow. I don't understand this 1 proof. Let A be an nxn matrix. If Ajk denotes the cofactor of ajk, for k=1...n, then ai1+Aj1+ai2Aj2+...+ainAjn=det(A) if i=j and 0 if i does not = j Can someone explain this? I don't understand the proof.
