y = 1.1x - 4.6

The algebraic way is easy, the reason being that substituting for y gives a quadratic that can be solved by inspection:
\[x^2-6x+9=0\]

\[(x-3)(x-3)=0\]

x = 3 and by substitution y = -1.3
