Please help with this calculus problem: A woman plans to fence off three sides of a rectangular garden, one side of the garden is a wall. The area of the garden is 64ft2. What should be the dimensions of the garden if she wants to minimize the amount of fence used?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

W = Length of the Wall Side H = the length of the non-wall side. W*H = 64 ft^2 W + 2H = Perimeter covered by the fence That was just every thing that jumped into my mind as I read the problem. Now, can you put all those pieces together to solve the problem?

I actually just solved it. Thanks :)
