CPI Brazil (2008): 166 CPI Brazil (2000): 60 Base Year Brazil: 2001 When calculating the Inflation Rate from 2000 - 2008 do I use 2001 as the base year and use 100 as the CPI for the previous year or do I use the CPI in 2000 which is 60?

It's implying that the index in 2001, the base year, is 100. You leave the numbers for 2000 and 2008 as they are.
