OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm thinking that that 36 is an angle measure and not a length of a side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought that is that length of a side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm... is there anymore info to this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

none

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that case, idk.... :( sorry....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about this??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you'll have to solve a system of two equations with two unknowns: 3a + b = 90 7a = b + 90 do you understand where these equations came from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how will i compute these?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show me how to solve this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you asking how i got these equations OR how do you solve this system of equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just like solving any system of linear equations, you can do elimination or substitution.... these terms ring a bell?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe if i write the equations this way you'll prolly be able to do elimination: 3a + b = 90 7a - b = 90 add these equations to eliminate the "b" unknown....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry.... i gotta make like a baby and head out..... gotta go... cya....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
