Rise is when you go up with the points till you meet the line with the other point then you go to the left or right to meet the point thats your slope y0

Rise = spaces up(+ number) or spaces down(- number)
Run = spaces to the right.

So from the first point, count the spaces up or down. If the line goes down, remember this number will be negative. Then count the spaces you need to "run" to the second point.
