Hey peeps :D I need help ASAP! The question I need help with is: Use complete sentences to explain how you would use graphing technology to find the solutions of 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5. What do the solutions of 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5 represent on the graph of the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean by "graphing technology"? a graphing calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh thank you so much for responding and yes I am suppose to use a graphing calculator but this is sooo confusing.....

Plug the equation into the y= screen then hit graph. Then hit 2nd calculate and select option number 2 which is find zeros. Find a point to the left of the first zero press enter then find a point to the right of the first zero and press enter then take a guess as to where you think the zero is Repeat the process to find the second zero. The zeros are where the graph crosses the x-axis

Thanks :D could you answer yhe second part? The question is What do the solutions of 0 = 2x2 - 3x + 0.5 represent on the graph of the equation?
