1. Which ray is a bisector of
I have the fist one BD? But i dont know rest
GH is 5x -10 You need to find x. GH = IG or 3x=5x-10 Solving for x we get x=5 so 5x-10 is 5(5)-10=25-10=15
Thank you:)
Y could be found if the following reasoning makes sense. Angle ABD equals angle DBC because you state BD is a bisector of angle ABC. Angle DBC equals angle CBE because they are opposite equal sides of congruent right triangles. That being the case we can now state; (8y + 4)degree = 10y degrees solving for y we get 2y = 4 degree, y = 2 degree.
Now with the value of y established, we know angle DBE is 40 degrees, do you see why?
yes i do that helped alot :)
First for the last one I was thinking all we would need to do is to substitute for x and y getting 47 which is a choice, but with further thought x in in a linear distance measurement (maybe cm, in etc) and y is in degrees so you could not just add them. I don't know how to get the last oner.
It could be a trick question, I don't see a correct answer.
Okay thank you for your help i really apprecitate it:)
