this can be used to give
.48 is x% of 1.6 ----> .48 / 1.6 = _____

This will be a number less than 1 so remember if you report it as a "percentage" you need to multiply your answer by 100.

You should end up with something suspiciously close to what ames1812 has given :-)

when you divide 0.48/1.6 you end up with 3/10... To get the percentage you times it by 100 and you get 30%.
