help - c/4>3 ; c<-12

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Do you need help to understand the solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (kropot72):

OK. \[\frac{-c}{4}>3\] Multiply both sides by 4 to get: \[-c >12\] To find the value of c it is necessary to to either multiply or divide both sides of the inequality by -1. When this is done the rule for inequalities states that the inequality sign must be reversed.
