Is it ok to title a paper with a question?

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

Yes, it is but it also depends on what type of paper you're writing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES always :)

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

Whether it's better or not, but if you want. You should :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is an APA style paper on if homosexual couples should be able to adopt or not. I'm new at this and a terrible writer. And terrified and lost.

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

I'm very good at writing, it's my favorite subject. When I was in 7th grade, I wrote a 10th grade paper and got a A+. What do you want your title to be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow that amazing! I'm a jealous I was thinking something like: should homosexual couples have the right to adopt?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But it seems like it could be worded better?

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

Haha! It has advantages. That'd be good, but you could possibly word it like, "Should homosexuals have more rights?" so it keeps your reader guessing until they actually read the paper!

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

It makes them curious what it's about.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm that's a good point I wish I would have found this website before! Thank you so much honestly

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

No problem, it's my pleasure! btw; KhanAcademy, Wolfram. Are both great sites.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks I will keep that in mind I am going to a writing lab Monday hopefully they can help me further

OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

Hopefully. Good luck. :)

Thanks a bunch!
