Hey guys little help please? Thanks :) 1/3(9x-3)=-10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply by 3 and start with \[9x-3=-30\] then it should be a lot easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add 3 to both sides, then divide both sides by 9 you will get \(x\) by itself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply the 3(9x-3) on both sides, then it should become clear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My mistake; that is (1/3)(9x-3). satellite73 is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kk doing it, thanks guys :)
