Can you please check my answers (area/perimeter) http://s1324.beta.photobucket.com/user/Marcelia1/media/Mathsucks.png.html?sort=3&o=0 1) A=15ft^2 P=18ft 2) A=7.5m^2 P=27m 3) A= 52.3in^2 P=26.8in 4) SA=979.6yd^2 V=2260.8yd^3 5) SA=190cm^2 V=126cm^3 6) SA=726mm^2 V=1331mm^3 Am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

part 1 is good to go :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check #2 again

OpenStudy (raden):

1) right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check perimeter for #3

OpenStudy (raden):

perimeter #2, it shoulde be 11 but area is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok I was having trouble with two. How'd you get 11?

OpenStudy (raden):

just add all numbers around it: 2.5+2.5+0.5+2.5+2.5+0.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

everything else is good except 2 and perimeter for 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks RadEn :) Where did I go wrong on 3 jayz?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area for 2 area triangle + area triangle + area rectangle area triangle = 2 x 2.5 = 5 we dont divide by 2 since theres 2 triangles area of rectangle = 0.5 x 3 = 1.5 area for 2 = 1.5 + 5 = 6.5m^2 perimeter = add all sides on the outsides perimeter = 2.5+2.5+0.5+2.5+2.5+0.5 = 11m sorry my bad 3 is right

OpenStudy (raden):

#3 area=52,26 perimeter=26,84

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks, you guys are lifesavers :)

OpenStudy (raden):

welcome :)
