John Dalton: 1:Elements are composed of many discrete and undivisible particle known as atoms. 2: Atoms of the same element are identical 3) Compounds consist of different atoms, and in the compound atoms exists in ratio which is a whole number. 4) Chemical reaction involves, the separation, combination and rearrangement of atoms, in the chemical reaction neither atoms are destroyed nor new atoms are created. - Ernest Rutherford: Discovered the nucleus by bombarding a thin foil of gold with the positive alpha particles, the results was that alpha particls passed through the foil, while very few were deflected back at some weird angles. Niels Bohrn: Came up with a model of atomic orbitals, where electrons revolved around the nucleus. However, this only proved for hydrogen atom, which had only one electron, but not for other atoms. The answer is John Dalton layed the foundation for atomic theory
