Is the difference of two polynomials always a polynomial? Explain.

Yes it is: the difference and/or the sum of any finite number of polynomials is always a polynomial :) I will not go through an explanation/proof because I think it is better explained/proved in the textbooks :) Source(s): University (I am a bachelor of applied math and information tech) my medal
