A columnist writes that it is clear that what the president is doing is bad for the country because so many people oppose the president . What is wrong with this statement? A credible columnist is not allowed to express his or her opinion openly in the news. This is an example of plagiarism. The columnist has made use of someone else's ideas. It is illegal for anyone to make negative remarks in the news about the U.S. president. It suggests that something is true only because many people believe it to be true.
