ALL I NEED ARE OPINIONS. No research is required. The question is, should Eliza go back to Professor Higgins? Background Information: Consider this - If you as a person were an experiment, but not only that, but an experiment that were directed by two males with the purpose of changing you as a person (in this case, it's both a scientist and a colonel changing this girl named Eliza into a mature young woman), and you had the chance to walk away after being through with the experiment, would you leave or stay with the person who changed you into someone "better"?
I know this doesn't belong in the math category, but any opinions are valid!
Many good and great things in our society have developed from less than altruistic intent. Take a good, close look at orthopaedic and vascular surgery and it's relatioship with war! (That's just one example.) If Eliza is fond of Prof. Higgins, and she can extract a promise from him not to experiment on her, why should she care if he was a jerk, before?
Very good points
Very interesting points.....
If she truly wants to remain offended, and fail to return ONLY because she was offended, she is free to choose to be lonely - at least for a while - maybe for a long time. Loneliness is almost always a bad choice if it goes on too long.
* its relationship Bad punctuation and bad spelling
