y=1/2 x-1; (6,2), (0,1) show that each pair is a solution of the equation. then graph the two pairs to determine another solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

replace \(x\) by \(6\) and \(y\) by \(2\) and see if it is true i.e. check that \[2=\frac{1}{2}\times 6-1\] if that is true (which it is) then \((6,2)\) is a "solution" to the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you . how would i find out about 0,1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

repeat the process with \(x=0\) and \(y=1\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the 1/2 i devide that and get 0,5 right?
