3x^2 - 27 = 0
3 (x^2 - 9) = 0
3 (x-3)(x+3) = 0
x-3 = 0 or x+3 = 0
x = 3 or -3
-9x^2 + 12x = 0
-3x (3x - 4) = 0
3x = 0 or 3x-4 = 0
x = 0 or 4/3

i think the solution to this equation could not be determined @niksva 3x^2 + 27 = 0
sorry!! @Jasminebunnies
OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):
3x^2=-27
x^2=-9
x=sqrt-9
OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):
answer is \[x=\sqrt{-9}\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3x^2 +27 = 0
3x^2 = -27
x^2 = -9
x = ± sqrt(-9)
x = ±3i
OpenStudy (anonymous):
answer is x= ± 3i
