Is it accurate to describe the physical universe as composed of only matter and energy?

yes, although there is a hypotheses that says there exists some dark matter
anyways its not with us to judge what universe is made of, as our knowledge of universe gives us only a narrow idea of what our image of universe is......i.e. there might be many other parallel running universes too.....i mean u never know what universe is staying on Earth

m sure dark matter is a fuss by some genius lol thers no crap known as dark matter, and universe has different composition , different structure according to different theories but the most certain and most proven so far is , universe is composed of energy n hence matter

yes, its accurate to say universe is composed of matter and energy because no matter how many theories are there to explain structure and composition of universe but fundamentally its energy that generates everything so yes its energy and matter that forms universe

It depends on your perspective. The composition of the physical universe may include the objects that observers therein use to describe it; things like space-time, sets, relations, etc. Also, [dark] matter and light are two manifestations of the same object, that which is included in the above list.

so how can you be so sure that it is only energy that is responsible for making of universe....?
