You need to find the area where y is positive between the function and y = 0 , subtract the area where y is negative between the function and y = 0, and remember to factor in the original 7 miles.

I didn't do it, so I'm not sure, but are you considering that each horizontal tick mark is 10 minutes (which is 0.17 hours)?
