OpenStudy (erniellyd28):

ok thank u so much for your help have a good night

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The plane leaving Boston has flown 500 miles after 1 hour so there is now 2500 miles separating both planes. They are now flying toward each other at a closing speed of 1000 mph, 500 mph plus 500 mph.\[t=\frac{2500}{500+500}=2.5\text{ hrs} \]They will pass each other in 2.5 hrs.
