a certain region is losing 28 million acres of rain forest each year. (a) find the linear function that calculates the acres of rain forest in millions in x years (b) find f(6) and interpret the results
Number of acres lost after number of years = Number of acres lost per year x years
although you know the answer can you give him the steps and tell him how to do it so he may understand what he is doing.
thanks that is right i need help with geting to the answers pls
ok, let me see if i can help
@MikiaseKebede that is the simplest step that I would take. If he needed more help he could have just posted something
@Skaematik i am sorry.
can you help him please.
I would appreciate it
cuz its been a long time since i learned a problem like this.
i need more information on that last step to get were i need to be
ao man, i know ask @jim_thompson5910
Its ok Mik
he is offline
Do you understand my first post?
no
i think i cam up with that f(-28x) and that is were i get stuck again
its f(x)=-28x
f(x) = -28x because like I said Number of acres lost after number of years = Number of acres lost per year x years Number of acres lost per year = 28 Number of years = x
K NEXT STEP IN THE EQUATION
Thank you @Skaematik, i was worried that no one might not help hom. thx
at least i failed helping him, i am sorry I was't there to help
you both are helping thanks for both of you i know that it is f=-168 for millions of acres
Sub x=6 into f(x) = -28x f = -168
because youre finding f(6)
k thanks skaematik
