what is the difference between a measuring cylinder, mesuring jar, measuring cup and measuring jug?and what is the least count of a measuring jar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the precision

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the least count would also be the degree of precision a measuring jar has. I can't tell you the answer since the standard size for a measuring jar is not the same among countries as in is not a standard instrument in the use of physics/chemistry experiments.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Measuring_Jar.jpg the least count for this measuring jar would be 4 oz. note it is in oz and oz is not an SI unit for measuring

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then which is the SI unit? any idea?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SI unit for measurement should be m/cm/nm etc anything in metres

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for volume add a cube of course

ok thanks
