OpenStudy (arhin):

54+root2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not necessarily looking for an answer, more of an explanation so I can understand the problem. Thank Arhin, anyway..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

FOIL First Outer Inner Last \(\huge (a+b)(c+d) = ac+ad+bc+bd\)

OpenStudy (arhin):

sorry typing mistake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(7+√2)(8-3√2) = 54-21\sqrt{2}+ 8\sqrt{2} -(2)(3)=54-13\sqrt{2}-6 = 48-13\sqrt{2}\]Ok so what you do is you expand.

OpenStudy (arhin):

@elisichi is rather50 −13√2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^whoops. my bad. 7 *8= 56. Youre right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I understand now. Thank- you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem!

OpenStudy (arhin):
