Is this relation a function? -3,-6; -1, -6; 5, -6 ; 8, -6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure thing. You wanna know how to figure it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, first thing: Im no genius. Im GOOD at math, but im not valedictorian or anything :P Second: this is really easy to do. A relation is a function so long as no x coordinates are the same. If there are two or more congruent x coordinates, its not a function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhhh! i get it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha what a blonde :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know, I know... ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dang.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry :( i do my best
