Does anyone know how i would type this in on online homework? log base 2 of 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\log _{2}(9)\]

OpenStudy (carson889):

Some interpreters may read it as such, log_2(9).

It didnt work :( Any other ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can change the base. That way you can write it as log(9)/log(2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In most cases, it requires that you use ln (natural log) instead of log. So you would type it in as ln(9)/ln(2)

Thanks
