Solve the Equation for the indicated varible. NEED HELP.! r-s+t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the indicated variable? to solve for a variable is to use mathematical operations to isolate, or separate, the "indicated" variable. btw there's no equation unless you have quantities on both sides of an equal sign

OpenStudy (makenna):

the indicated variable is R. The equation is r-s=t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right now the equation's solved for t. to solve for r, or get r by itself on one side, just add s to both sides

OpenStudy (makenna):

Soo the answer would be r=t+s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes that would be correct.
