Im sorry that this question is a bit lame but... why do we have to make a graphic of a magnetic field pointing the maximun and minimun value? does it shows something about the form of the magnetic field? problem 1.2 http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/physics/8-02-electricity-and-magnetism-spring-2002/assignments/pss1.pdf

hi, there is no such thing called as magnetic field in the attachment. i thing you might have meant for electric filed. Actually the graph shows the Electric filed strength vs distance of two point charges that lies in a straight line. it also shows that the filed strength was some positive value until the -1meter, after that it fells down to more negative value even though a positive charge is at 0meter. because there is a negative charge that is much larger than the positive charge at 0meter
