How do you factor: x^4-25x^2+144

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^4-25x^2+144 (x^2-6)(x^2-9) -- 6 times 9 equals 144 and when you add them together you get 25, both have to be negative because you need 144 to be potitive |dw:1353379975136:dw| therefore answer is (x^2-6)(x^2-9)
