All real

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[|x + 8| > -12\]remove the absolute value and make two inequalites:\[x+8>-12\]\[x+8<12\] now solve for both: \[x+8>-12\]subtract 8:\[x>-20\] \[x+8<12\]subtract 8 from both:\[x<4\] the answer should be: \(-20<x<4\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it should be always true with all real numbers
