I've read this book and I've read and reread the nightmare scene and I can't figure out how to put the details into a short essay format. Can you help me?

In "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail", during the nightmare scene who were the main characters? What were the primary events? How was the scene and the play works of protest against the war? Are there other parallels or discrepancies in other wars throughout American History?
