Solve for the variable. -1.9d = -11.78

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

When solving an equation, you can perform the same operation to both sides of the equation. You are solving for "d", and on the left side "d" is being multiplied by -1.9, so by dividing both sides by -1.9, you get the answer: \[\frac{ -1.9d }{ -1.9 } = \frac{ -11.78 }{ -1.9 }\] d = 6.2

Divide both sides.... by -1.9. The answer will be d = ? (solve)
