The governor of state A earns $52,670 more than the governor of state B. if the total of their salaries is $304,390. Find the salaries of each

state a is 204,865 state b is 99,525 i can explain if you want.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you divide 304,390 by 2 so a and b both are equal after u minus 52,670 from b because a makes 52,670 more so u add 52,670 to 152,195 which is half of 304,390 and u get 204,865 which is a and b is 99,525 because u subtracted that from 152,195 to prove its right add 99,525 to 204,865 and you get 304,390 and a is 52,670 more than be.
