Franz is writing Christmas cards for friends. He wrote for 213 hours and wrote 70 cards. How long did it take him to write each card? How do you know to convert to minutes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try calculating 213x60= (Amount in minutes) and then 213 divided by 70= (the amount spent for 1 card) Then the number you get with the amount spent on one card, times it by the number of minutes you got

ahhhh sorry i mean 2 1/3

how did you know to convert into minutes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha me too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well each hour is 60 minutes, and if you times or devide it by the hours writing, it should equal into minutes..
