v^2=35-2v I know the answer is 5, -7 I just need to know how get to the answer step by step Never mind.... I figured it out..... but for others who might need to know... here it is v^2=35-2v -35+2v-35+2v v^2-2v-35=0 (v-5)(v+7)=0 v-5=0 +5+5 v=5 v+7=0 -7 -7 v= -7 The solution set is 5,-7
