Well we have 2 functions here. A line and a parabola. Start with the line. If you were to find the slope of this line, you would notice it is -1. If you were to continue the line you would notice it passes through the origin so the equation for the line is (y=-x+b) x>=1 The second part is a parabola pointing downward so x^2 must be negative and the y intercept is at 2. so the equation for this would be (y=-x^2+2) x<1 The answer would then be B
