The light weight ceramic polymer membrane that is used in the Reverse Osmosis filtration system has been found to be good for desalination applications treating water from sources that range from seawater and wastewater. My question is, is it totally safe for one to assume that this membrane(ceramic) will not react with any of the chemicals it might encounter in the desalination process.
