I'm glad you responded in this manner. The aim of this site is try and help others to learn the subject matter. So we try and instill the habit of guiding people to an answer as we believe that is the best way for them to learn.
Teaching is not easy - it is an art. So I understand it can be difficult sometimes to explain and guide and one gets tempted to just give out the answer.

I have no problem explaining an answer but typing an explanation out is just too much so I give the answer and let another user explain the steps.

The disadvantage of that approach is that there are some people on this site who just come on to get answers to their homework assignments with no intentions of learning the subject matter. And here again we try to advise them to learn instead of just getting others to do their work for them. I would advise you to not leave answers if you feel you do not have enough time to explain - that would be better and would leave others with the opportunity to help guide the asker to the solution.

Oh yeah i know most of these kids come on here to get answers. I'll work on it like I said I have no problem explaining so i'll work on helping instead of giving.
