How do yo find the y and x axes in y > 2x - 4

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the y and x axis never moved

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if you are trying to determine the graph: since it is asking for values of y that are greater than (2x-4); then it would be good to start out with knowing which values of y actually are equal to (2x-4) y = 2x-4

OpenStudy (amistre64):

|dw:1353515666799:dw| by convention, since we want the values of y greater then the line, and not equal to the line; we draw in a dashed line to indicate the boudary

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then all thats left is to show all the values of y that are greater than the line:|dw:1353515806058:dw| if we were to pinpoint every y value greater than the line; it would appear to be a shaded region.|dw:1353515856267:dw|
