what will happen to energy of photon if weavelength becomes zero???????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mashy what happened? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm.. well.. if wavelength became zero.. there is no wave.. and hence no photon..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but particle nature has nothing to take with wave nature acc to quantum mechanics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm true.. but if there is no wave.. there is no energy.. !! so why would there be photons in the first place??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wave would be there only to transfer energy!!.. and when energy transfer takes place.. there would be both wave and particle property associated!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means that photon is hypothetical????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope.. its not hypothetical.. photoelectric effect, compton effects are all proofs for photons !.. its just that.. there would be both photons and waves!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then what will be a photon without energy?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what??.. if there are no photons.. there are no waves as well.. thats all!! (atleast thats what i think? :P )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for reply :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome ! :)

good night!!!!!!!!
