Simplify: (x^4y^5) ÷ (xy^2)^2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(xy^2)^2 becomes x^2y^4 So it is: (x^4y^5) ÷ (x^2y^4) The x and y cancel down to: x^2y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2y is the answer you need work shown?
