Which pair of functions has identical graphs? (a). y=sin (x+ pi/2) (b). y=-cos(x-pi) (c). y=cos( x-pi/2)

The +- pi/2 shifts to the LEFT or RIGHT respectively. So the first plot is simply a cosine curve. The second is a cosine shifted by pi, which gives -cos(x) but we have a negative out front so both (a) and (b) are just cosine!!! http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=plot+y%3Dsin(x%2Bpi%2F2)%2C+y%3D-cos(x-pi)

okay thank you!
